New Venues for Prelude

Whilst still working at all our known and loved venues, we are always trying to increase the number of venues which recommend us, particularly aiming at the most attractive, interesting or unusual.  Falling well within these categories, we were therefore delighted to have been included recently as a preferred supplier at the following:

 Bush Hall, London

We have the honour to be the only recommended entertainment supplier at Bush Hall, originally a small Edwardian music hall and now a highly acclaimed live music venue. Renowned for A-list acts and with a sympathetically restored dance hall featuring chandeliers, beautiful carved panelled walls and an opulent atmosphere, this venue retains the elegant charm of its age, whilst having acquired a trendy and cutting edge image. An intriguing venue, suitable for both corporate and private parties, including wedding receptions, blessings, civil ceremonies.

 Wakehurst Place

Currently managed by RBG Kew, Wakehurst Place in Ardingly is a beautiful 16th century mansion set in in stunning grounds.  A fantastic, stylish wedding venue with breathtaking views of the Gardens from the Mansion Lawn providing a fabulous backdrop for photographs,  it's also a wonderful venue for corporate events, particularly for outdoor receptions in the summer.

Taken on as sole entertaiment providers, we are hoping the recession isn't too damaging and this lovely venue has lots of events there this summer.  For more information, visit http://www.kew.org.

 The Foundling Museum

In the centre of London but tucked away in a quiet corner of Brunswick Square, the Foundling Museum, with spendid interiors, is a beautiful venue.  More than that, it tells the story of the first home for abandoned children in London, and its links with philanthropist Thomas Coram, artist William Hogarth and composer George Frideric Handel, create a moving and fascinating ambience.  Elegant, gracious and appealing, this venue offers a remarkable collection of art, period interiors and social history is eminently suitable for both private and corporate events.

The House of St Barnabas

A Grade 1 listed building, the House of St Barnabas boasts stunning Georgian features, a 'secret' garden and a truly beautiful historic private chapel which offers tremendous potential for private or corporate receptions.  Situated in the vibrant Soho area of London, the House of St Barnabas operates as a charity offering life skills programmes to the homeless.  A wonderful venue by itself, but with a philanthropic focus, it makes for an uplifting place to hold events and we were particularly pleased to be accepted as their only recommended entertainment supplier.

The Deck (National Theatre)

A light, modern structure launched only in 2008, The Deck and its adjoining terrace create an ideal space for both corporate or private parties.

With panoramic views across the whole of London providing an inspiring backdrop, this new and very contemporary space set high above the glamorous South Bank is already becoming one of the favourite summer venues in London.  As sole entertainment suppliers, we can vouch for its well-deserved appeal amongst both corporate and private clients.
