Every year we come across a host of new acts, some encompassing new technology, some offering a completely different musical or artistic concept and others which comprise artists new to us but who perform classical or traditional material. The following is just a small cross-section of some of our recent finds.

Shows
The Enchanted Globe
A brand new, delightful acrobatic act featuring two young people in a giant inflatable globe performing a choreographed routine to romantic backing music. Three themes are available, gold & silver, summer or winter, with petals or snowflakes cascading gently down in the globe while the artists perform.
A stunning idea for weddings, two beautiful young people locked together in harmony in their own private world, but equally impressive for corporate events, particularly those with a seasonal or elegant theme.

Contemporary Opera

This completely new act of 5 lovely young women, all with stunning voices, performing to backing tracks, brings opera right up into the
21st century while still paying homage to the great musical maestros. Dressed in romantic Grecian costume the girls will complement any traditional venue or historic occasion but put them in basques and
black tights, add a bit of attitude, some popular and jazz numbers,
and they will fit in with the most up-to-date space and ambience. Eminently suitable for both private and corporate events, their
repertoire encompasses classical, popular and jazz, allowing the act

Hand Shadow Act
Some people may say it's passe but we believe most people secretly love hand shadows - just watch them trying it out for themselves after
the show!
Ideal for multi-nationalist groups when language may be a problem, this short cabaret is performed by the European master of hand shadows, choreographed to a musical backing. (If you want to mix it up a bit,
he's also a great magician.)

Futuristic Space Puppet Show
A fun alien puppet show featuring life size puppets, glo juggling, a space
mantra ray, jelly fish, a flying serpent, spirals, ribbons, butterflies and hoops,

Jazz and Pop Quartet
This young jazz quartet comprises four young men who just happened to love jazz, but also loved pop. So they decided to have the best of both worlds, got together and arranged all their favourite popular numbers in a swinging, jazz format. Ideal for contemporary events when you want something just a little bit different, modern but still recognisable, cool but stylish - and the guys look pretty good too!

Cuban Music - The Real Deal
Classically trained in his native Cuba at the Tropicana Club, Casa de la Musica and Casa de la Trova, Tony is a leading proponent of Cuban Son,
Bolero, Cha cha cha, Salsa and Latin Jazz. He has over 26 years of professional experience as a lead singer and musician, also appearing regularly on Cuban National Television and at many internationally renowned festivals in Cuba. His style is authentic, sophisticated and romantic, and reminiscent of 1950s glamour, balmy nights dancing under the stars. Now based in London, Tony is happy to perform with either his full backing band as a feature or as a smaller acoustic background group for events with space and sound restrictions.

Transparently Magic
A slightly freaky, but unique fun act. Our invisible magician is equally at home amusing children or entertaining guests at corporate events, producing hilarity wherever he goes, as well as the occasional horrified scream.
With an irrepressible sense of the ridiculous, pony-tailed Tim is also a humorous mentalist/mind reader and multi-talented performer who will happily mime, dance and juggle crystals or glow balls for your guests.
Ideal as either a meet and greet or as a walkabout character.
Bagpipes and Drums with Attitude
A blazing rock band and a show so hot it carries its own health warning. These contemporary swinging pipers have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless.
Winners of BBC1 primetime show ‘When Will I be Famous’ and voted ‘Live Act of the Year 2007’ at the Scots Trad Music Awards, these rocking pipers are an act not to be missed.
Promenade Theatre
An interactive theatre performance with a unique storyline, made just for your event and never to be used again. Interacting with a wide variety of characters ranging from the subtle to the outlandish, your guests will be set a mixture of puzzles, riddles and clues specially created for your event and venue, either contemporary or historical. Imagine, for example, being led on a treasure hunt through an historical palace by the King or Queen, being whispered secrets behind velvet curtains, or getting involved in the gunpowder plot – the opportunities are endless. An unforgettable and exhilarating form of entertainment which will enthral guests.
Vintage DJs
In addition to our extensive choice of DJs – young & trendy, cool & clubby, cute & cheesey, funky & female, suave & high-end corporate – we are delighted to complete the range with four glamorous retrochics who dress in all things vintage and play 78rpm records from the 1920s to the 1950s on original wind-up gramophones. The gramophones don’t need any electricity (just lots of wind-up action!) enabling them to play in parks and gardens or just about anywhere they like. For large events they’ve also had unique electrical attachments custom designed so that they can plug their grams into a PA system and distribute their sound more evenly or louder. An unusual and attractive option.
